About:

After I left school at 16 I was unsure of where to begin my life. I enrolled at Saltash College where I studied childcare and education. During this time I knew that education and childcare was not for me. So I talked to the art department and after I finished my childcare and education diploma I moved over to art.

I have a wide range of qualifications within art and outside of the arts. I am very well-travelled and been through many life’s journeys. After completing my Fine Art degree at Plymouth University I am aiming to go onto a MA illustration. As I believe this is more of a suited area to my work. I am very passionate about my drawings.

My artwork and personal artwork both related to where I have been and things I have read.  I like to keep my artwork close to reflecting travel and where I have been because this means a great deal to me. Having my Fiancé living in Czech Republic means we are always travelling around, back and forth. I did two clocks representing this. Always waiting for the time to past so we are together. This does create a lot of influence on me and my a artwork.

More of my resent work has been based on anorexia and how it controls and destroys  a person. I tried to show this by the use

of clothing.  But I have come to relize that sculputre is not for me, it is not a project I really enjoyed because I didn't like working with materials. I always found myself coming back to drawing the idea. I found creating the dresses more of a pain to create than liking what I am doing.
